If you’re not wearing contacts right now and just wearing your glasses, you know the struggle is real! Trying to wear glasses while your wearing a face mask totally steams up your glasses. Try this trick…

RealSimple.com says that two scientists published a study about this trick to keep your glasses fog-free back in 2011. From the article:

“[W]ash the spectacles with soapy water and shake off the excess. Then, let the spectacles air dry or gently dry off the lenses with a soft tissue before putting them back on. Now the spectacle lenses should not mist up when the face mask is worn.”

You’re supposed to do this right before you put on your glasses/mask combo to leave the house. So why does it work? The article says that using soapy water is key because it leaves behind an invisible film that won’t allow the mositure from your breath to stick to the lenses of your glasses.
