Women’s March Sacramento 2019: Here’s Everything You Need To Know

Before you start making your women empowerment signs for the Women’s March Sacramento this weekend, here are some things you need to know!

This weekend, hundreds maybe thousands of people will march to stand up to #EndViolenceAgainstWomen in Sacramento and celebrate the #WomensWave on Saturday, January 19th, 2019 at the California State Capitol.

According to Women’s March Sacramento, the march route is one mile with the meet-up on T Street side of Southside Park. From T Street, march northbound on 8th Street, turning right, eastbound on Capitol Mall to arrive at the CA State Capitol. This women’s empowerment event will have speakers, music, and live and food trucks at 10 AM. Before you start making your women empowerment signs, march officials are asking to please limit sticks on signs or flags to 18 inches of wood from the bottom of the sign or flag.

This is a FREE event, registration is not required to attend the event, although the Women’s March Sacramento is asking for participants to register to plan for proper accommodations for Saturday.
