Mayo + Ketchup. You in? Heinz is making it a reality, and Twitter unleashed its fury. Why? The condiments company presented their “Mayochup” as new and even asked followers if they’d vote “yes” on it. This, apparently, has been a thing in Puerto Rico, Argentina, Colombia, Germany, and the American Midwest for decades. In Heinz defense, this is the 1st time I’m seeing it packaged and in American grocery stores. And yes, I’d at least try it.
My God, this is stupid. It's called Mayo-ketchup here in Puerto Rico and we've used it since forever.🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ https://t.co/ZWC0noMcfH

Come on @HeinzKetchup_US be classy. Just admit you were wrong and call it what it has been called in Utah since 1940, fry sauce.

It's called Mayoketchup in Puerto Rico, Salsa Golf in Argentina and you're just stealing a great recipe and making it horrible. Hell, I'd take fry sauce/fancy sauce over your stolen shit.
