Steve Granitz/WireImageLongtime Starbucks fan Ariana Grande — who shares her name with a Starbucks drink size — may be distancing herself from the coffee chain.
The singer reportedly unfollowed Starbucks on Instagram and has been posting shoutouts to rival coffee shops on her Instagram Story, including Nimbus Coffee and Undergrind Cafe in Los Angeles.
Her most recent caffeinated post on Monday featured an iced coffee from the wizard-themed Nimbus Coffee with the caption, “mmmmmmmm @nimbus_coffee_la.”
It’s being speculated that Ariana dumped Starbucks after the brand initially prohibited employees from showing support for the Black Lives Matter movement at work. Starbucks has since reversed that decision.
Last March, Ariana dubbed herself a “Starbucks ambassador” as she promoted the brand’s Cloud Macchiato drink.
While she hasn’t spoken out against Starbucks publicly, she’s made her stance supporting Black Lives Matter clear by joining protests and using her platform to raise awareness and promote action.
