Halsey is honoring the late Juice WRLD with a new tattoo.
After releasing a collab to be featured on Juice’s posthumous new album, Halsey revealed the ink — featuring the song’s title, “Life’s a Mess,” and Juice’s symbolic number, 999 — etched across her knuckles.
“Juice was one of the greatest people I have ever known, and one of the most brilliant artists we will ever live to witness,” Halsey wrote on Instagram. “A true genius who had lyric and melody spilling out of him without any second thought or hesitation. And a beautiful soul who believed in spreading love and creating a community for people to feel less alone.”
She added, “It means everything to me that I could be a part of this album. I cried the first time that I heard it. With all the love in my heart, #lljw.”
Juice WRLD’s Legends Never Die album arrives Friday, July 10. The Chicago rapper, born Jarad Anthony Higgins, died from an accidental drug overdose in December 2019 at age 21.
