KCRA.com says that the dead shark was over 8.5 feet long and weighed 500 pounds when it washed up on the shore of a beach in Aptos, CA. It was estimated to be only 5 years old so the cause of death is being investigated by a pathologist. To see more pics of the shark, CLICK HERE
