Has your Google Maps gotten smarter/easier to follow? About a month ago, people started tweeted that their app was using fast food restaurants to help navigate. Engadget reached out to Google and turns out the tech giant is testing landmarks to aid directions; however, their rep didn’t say whether the feature would become permanent and see a wider rollout. This hasn’t happened to me yet, but I’ve been thinking how much easier that’d be. The average person uses landmarks when giving directions, so Google should too!
