Gisele Bundchen for Breastfeeding Law

Has Gisele Bundchen been doing “open mouth insert foot” exercises to keep herself so trim?  Or maybe she’s going to the Elisabeth Hasselbeck school of how to say something ignorant that will p*ss people off!

During her interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Gisele said:

“Some people here [in the U.S.] think they don’t have to breastfeed, and I think, ‘Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?’ I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months.”

Now because of the backlash, she’s clarifying her comments… More after the jump.

She meant what she said.  She judges you if you don’t breastfeed!! Not nice, and not her business!!

I’m a big fan of the boob feeding.  Some might even think it a bit freakish I breastfed until my daughter was over a year old… but it’s mommy’s choice! And so many people try and can’t… no reason for someone like Gisele to be lecturing.
