Rattlesnake season is here and a young girl is recovering from a snakebite after being bitten in Carmichael…
SacBee.com says that the girl was playing on a play structure at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center when she picked up a wooden disc with a baby rattlesnake hiding beneath it. The girl was bitten on the finger and was transported to a nearby hospital where the girl was treated. She is reportedly going to be fine and is expected to make a full recovery. The snake was collected and released further into the park.
