Freeform Premiering ‘Hocus Pocus’ 25th Anniversary Special

Hocus Pocus, the cult-classic Halloween movie, will be premiering a 25th anniversary special celebration on Freeform next month.

To celebrate the spooky season, Freeform has announced that the channel will premiere a 25th anniversary special for the cult-classic, Hocus Pocus. The special event, Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary Halloween Bash, is set to air on Saturday, October 20th.

According to E Online, the special will feature a variety of features for die-hard fans of the halloween cult-classic. Interviews with the cast, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, Thora Birch, Doug Jones, and director Kenny Ortega, will be included in the special.

The anniversary event will also reportedly have a Hocus Pocus costume contest. The competition is set to be judged by both Sharon and Kelly Osbourne. Additionally, the special will include drag queen Lady Bunny as the DJ, as well as additional guests that Freeform has yet to announce. No announcement has been made yet regarding if Bette Midler will make an appearance as well.

To round out the celebration, a special pop-up version of the film will air before and after the anniversary special. This trivia version will include behind-the-scenes looks and commentaries on different moments in the film.
