Forbes just released a list of the top ten wealthiest celebrities in 2018. Many are understandable, but some might come as a surprise!
The publication looked into the net worth of each star to compile the list. The top ten in this list have a combined $18.7 billion. Wow. A newcomer to the list is Kylie Jenner at number five. She holds a fifth place tie with Jay-Z at $900 million.

Another thing to note is that the list only account for American citizens who got their riches from their fame, not vice versa.
