Holy pumpkin-moly! I have so many questions, how can someone grow something this MASSIVE?!
According to the Boston Globe, a guy named Steve Geddes of Boscawen, in New Hampshire broke a national record for the heaviest pumpkin, weighing a whopping 2,528 pounds! This MASSIVE pumpkin broke the previous record by 165 pounds PLUS won him $6,000 at a pumpkin growing championship event on Thursday at the local fair.
Can you believe it’s only the second-biggest pumpkin in WORLD history? Someone in Belgium set a Guinness World Record two years ago with one that was 2,625 pounds, that almost 100 pounds more than Steve’s pumpkin!
