There’s been some drama surrounding the potential cancellation of Freeform’s Famous in Love. One of the reasons why it may have gotten axed is because of Bella Thorne’s “diva-like behavior.”

On June 26, news spread that the show got cancelled after streaming partner, Hulu, refused to help more with financing. However, Freeform told Entertainment Weekly that “no decision has been made at this time.”

A few sources told the Hollywood Reporter that some producers were happy to hear about the cancellation. Apparently Thorne and showrunner, I. Marlene King, clashed on set. However, the two said on Twitter that those rumors are not true.

The insiders also went on to say that the actress reportedly wanted out of the show anyway. She refused to participate in live-tweets to help promote the second season.

The 20-year-old further found out about the potential cancellation through social media. She tweeted: “If this is how I find out our show is canceled..I’m going to be so upset. Very hurtful freeform. I woulda liked a phone call maybe.”
