Elk Grove Police Department mourns the loss of Officer Ty Lenehan

“This morning around 05:20 , one of our motor officers was involved in a vehicle collision with a wrong way driver on Southbound Hwy 99. The officer was transported to the UC Davis Medical Center after sustaining major injuries as a result of the collision. Despite lifesaving measures, the officer, a 6 year veteran of the Elk Grove Police Department, has passed away.”
