Did Ed Sheeran get married in secret? During the press junket for his documentary, Songwriter, he seemed to imply (multiple times) that the wedding already happened.
The 27-year-old first announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Cherry Seaborn in January. Since then, however, there haven’t been any updates, reports HelloGiggles. That is… until he inevitably got bombarded with wedding questions while speaking to the press.

On Aug. 27, Access Hollywood asked about his wedding plans. Sheeran’s only response was pointing to his ring finger, which already has a wedding band on it. The interviewer enthusiastically congratulated a red-faced Sheeran. When asked, “How did you manage to sneak that one in?” the singer said, “I never really do anything too public anyway.” See the video below.
Later, he simply shrugged when Entertainment Tonight asked if he’s already married. Sheeran then continued to say that he doesn’t want a huge wedding. “I don’t like large groups of people at the best of times so… I never wanted a wedding that was loads of people.” Watch the clip below.
