Ariana Grande updated her official website on Saturday to show the word “Positions,” along with a clock counting down to two separate dates.
The countdown shows something coming at midnight ET on October 23 — presumably a single — followed by another event to take place on October 30. The latter would seem to indicate the release date for her sixth album, apparently titled Positions.
Ariana has been teasing new music on social media, including a tweet on Wednesday that read, “i can’t wait to give u my album this month.”
Grande’s collaborator Tayla Parx has also spoke about being in the studio with the singer working on a new project.
Producer TBHits also hinted at the upcoming album last weekend, and Grande herself tweeted a song snippet and what appeared to be a lyric in September.
The new record will be the follow-up to Ariana’s chart-topping 2019 release, thank u, next, which produced two #1 hits and became one of the best-selling albums of that year worldwide.
