The whole world was in shock when the news broke of Demi Lovato’s apparent drug overdose back in July of 2018. Her mother, Dianna De La Garza opened up for the first time since Demi’s overdose in a recent interview with Newsmax TVon Sept. 18th. With her daughter’s blessing, Dianna went into detail about the day Demi had the apparent overdose.
In Dianna De La Garza’s “America Talks Live” interview on Newsmax TV, she shared, Demi was quote, “in bad shape” and was in “critical condition” in the hospital. She also shared an update on Demi’s health, quote, “I can honestly say today that she is doing really well, she’s happy, she’s healthy. She’s working on her sobriety and she’s getting the help she needs, and that in itself encourages me about her future and about the future of our family.”
