John Shearer/Getty Images for The Recording AcademyIn 2017, Demi Lovato partnered with YouTube for Demi Lovato: Simply Confidential, a documentary about the making of her album Tell Me You Love Me, her sexuality, and her personal struggles.  Now, she’s teaming up with YouTube again for a new documentary series.

Deadline reports that the series will be produced by the same company that brought you the Justin Bieber docuseries, Seasons.  Deadline says apparently, Demi saw Justin’s series and got back in touch with YouTube for the new project.  Unsurprisingly, Demi and Justin have the same manager: Scooter Braun.

The new series, which is currently untitled, will focus on the last three years, which saw the singer and actress fall off the wagon, survive an overdose, get sober and then return with triumphant performances on the Grammys and the Super Bowl.

In other Demi Lovato news, she was a guest on Wednesday’s edition of The Kelly Clarkson Show, and gushed that as a child, Kelly was the first star she idolized.

“I wouldn’t be the artist, or even the person, that I am with being so outspoken and vulnerable and fearless if I hadn’t had you to look up to,” Demi told Kelly, adding, “You are fearless and courageous and real…and I love that about you. When I was younger, I always just thought to myself, ‘If I ever make it, I want to be like her because she’s real and she’s genuine.'”

“I’m not, all the time! It takes work!” Kelly responded, but thanked Demi for the kind words.

Finally, Demi will take part in the Disney Channel Summer Sing-Along, featuring Disney channel stars performing songs from Disney Channel Original Movies, series and more. It airs at 8 p.m. ET on Friday on the Disney Channel.
