The singer gushed on Instagram Monday about their time away together, posting a series of romantic photos from their trip.

“Had an amazing weekend in the magical desert of Joshua Tree with my love @maxehrich..,” Demi wrote. “I went to work on a project but it was so nice to get away for a couple days.. thank you for making me so happy my dear.. I love going on adventures with you.”

She also thanked her friend Lyndan Coleman for “taking these sappy pics and bein our third wheel this weekend!!”

Max commented on the post, “I love you to the furthest galaxy and back again. what a weekend.”

He also shared photos from the trip on his own Instagram page and referred to Demi as “the love of [his] life.”

The two were revealed to be dating in March and officially confirmed their status by sharing a kiss in the music video for Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s “Stuck With U.”

Last month, Demi expressed how happy she is in the relationship with an Instagram Story captioned, “I now spend my days in a bathing suit with no makeup with someone who accepts and loves me for who I am; Flaws and all. I love you @maxehrich.”
