Demi Lovato Officially Cancels Her Tour To Focus On Recovery

Demi Lovato formally announced the cancellation of the remaining dates on her Tell Me You Love Me Tour. She plans to take time away to focus on her recovery after her overdose.

Demi Lovato formally announced the cancellation of the remaining dates on her Tell Me You Love Me Tour.

Lovato’s team explained in a press release that the singer’s primary focus is her recovery. “Live Nation and Lotus Productions wish Demi Lovato the best now and in the future and we hope to see her soon in South America,” it read.

The singer left a Los Angeles hospital on Aug. 4 for treatment from her alleged overdose. Several reports state that she immediately entered into a rehab facility following her release. According to Wonderwall, She is expected to be at the center for at least one month.

Lovato herself took to Instagram on Aug. 5 to address her struggle with addiction: “I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery. The love you have all shown me will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side. I will keep fighting.”
