Cristiano Ronaldo Beats Selena Gomez As Most Followed Person On Instagram

Selena Gomez was the “Queen Of Instagram” until Cristiano Ronaldo’s follower count just edged her out.

Selena Gomez was the “Queen Of Instagram” until Cristiano Ronaldo’s follower count just edged her out.

Elle.com says that Cristiano just gained a couple hundred more followers (437 to be exact) and that let him beat Selena Gomez out as “the most followed person on Instagram”. Selena Gomez recently publicly announced that she was on a break from social media while Cristiano is still posting away. You can see both of their latest posts below:

Mood lol (I was looking at myself in the mirror -like an idiot!) Update: taking a social media break. Again. As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each of us, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given.
