Cirque Du Soleil Performer Falls To His Death In Front Of Audience
A Cirque du Soleil performer fell to his death during the show VOLTA in front of a horrified audience in Florida on Saturday, March 17.

A Cirque du Soleil performer, Yann Arnaud, plunged to his death in front of an audience. The accident happened in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, March 15.
Yann, 38, fell while he was high above the stage on straps during the show VOLTA, reports the Telegraph. Yann died in the hospital due to his injuries.
Daniel Lamarre, the company’s president, said Yann was one of the most experienced performers. Yann was with Cirque du Soleil for over 15 years. Daniel said:
“We were very surprised, considering his experience, that something like that happened. I cannot describe to you how the people feel. It’s terrible.”
This is the company’s third death in 34 years.
The company released a statement regarding Yann’s death. It also stated that the rest of the weekend shows in Florida would be cancelled.
Yann was the father of two young children. His death is currently being investigated.
