Netflix has dropped a new trailer for their upcoming series, ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’, which focuses on the darker and twisted world of this new take on the classic show.

With October and the Halloween month officially here, Netflix has released a new trailer for their upcoming series, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. With this latest trailer, audiences get their first glimpse into the twisted world of the new series, which looks to be quite the departure from the lighter and funnier Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.
According to E Online, the darker tone of the show extends to the plot and tone as well. The series, which stars Mad Men‘s Kiernan Shipka in the titular role, will reportedly include Sabrina’s birthday as a major focus for the plot. As she gets older, Sabrina must decide whether she wants to follow down the path of witches or remain alongside her human friends. This personal conflict, along with the dark twists and turns of the show, is sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seat.

The show will also star familiar characters, with slight changes to fit with the new brooding themes. Aunt Hilda and Aunt Zelda will be played by Lucy Davis and Miranda Otto, respectively, with Ross Lynch starring as Harvey Kinkle and Jaz Sinclair as Rosalind.
