Chelsea Peretti took to Twitter to announce her official leave of ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ as Gina Linetti after six seasons.

Looks like it’s the end of an era. Chelsea Peretti took to Twitter to announce her Brooklyn Nine-Nine exit.
The comedian has been a part of the original cast since the first episode as Gina Linetti. She told fans that she won’t be returning for the full upcoming sixth season. “But that doesn’t mean I won’t ever be back, winky face emoji, heart emoji,” she promised.

The cast and crew of Brooklyn Nine-Nine went through quite a scare last year after Fox dropped the show. Fortunately, NBC came to the rescue and renewed the series for its sixth season. According to PopCulture, it’s expected to return early in 2019.
