According to TMZ, the Migos rapper thanked Cardi B and called her his wife. He said:
“I thank my wife. You should thank yours.”

This came as a shock to many, as it’s been assumed that the couple was still in the engagement phase of their relationship. However, it turns out their public engagement was all for show. TMZ went digging to find the truth, and it turns out the couple became husband and wife last year. Back in September of 2017, the couple filed their marriage certificate in Fulton County, Georgia.
When Offset publicly proposed to Cardi B, it was to help solidify them as a power couple in the media’s eye. And we have to say, it definitely seemed to work out for them.
