According to Variety, T.I., and Chance the Rapper will sit aside Cardi B as the main judges on the hip-hop music competition series. Cardi B has been in talks with Netflix for some time regarding the show and is getting a MASSIVE seven-figure paycheck to serve as a judge for the 10 hourlong episodes.
John Legend has also signed on to the show as one of the producers! Auditions will begin this fall across the U.S., including in the judges’ hometowns of Atlanta, Chicago, and New York. Local rappers from each audition city will serve as guest judges. Netflix aims to air their new series fall of 2019 with 10 one-hour episodes in the first season.
