Camila Cabello has a big year ahead of her. Her self-titled debut album drops soon on Jan. 12. So far, the singles “Crying in the Club,” “Havana,” and “and “Never Be the Same” have been released off Camila.
Cabello posted 10 second previews of two new songs on her Instagram, “All These Years” (#2) and “She Loves Control” (#3). The sneak peeks are accompanied by animations scribbled onto a notebook.
Both of the previews are minimal in what they expose. “All These Years” only features her harmonized vocals with what appears to be lyrics from the song written across the notebook. “She Loves Control” reveals a melodic cooing with “3. She loves control. She loves control, she wants it her way” written on the page.
She also posted a preview in the same fashion for her most recent single, “Never Be the Same” (#1) on Instagram.
Camila is available for pre-order here. When asked what kind of sound to expect from her album, Cabello told Rolling Stone:
“At first I thought it was gonna be, like, a sad-song album,” she says. “Then the more I got into the year, it just was better. I felt way happier. I feel that it has a good balance of the emo and the happy.”
