Most people currently receiving food stamps from the state of California have to go in to the store to use them but that will soon change. By the end of the month, California will allow its food stamps to be used online at certain stores.

ABC10.com reports that starting April 28th, people can start using their California food stamps at Amazon and Walmart. The article says that the California Department of Social Services is expected to increase the number of participating stores in the future. This new program will help accommodate our current  stay at home orders and will help to reduce the risk of exposure to the coronavirus.
