An Irish Woman And Her 300-Year-Old Pirate-Ghost-Husband Have Split
A woman has announced her split – and soon divorce – from her 300+ year-old ghost-pirate husband, and it only gets weirder from there.

Every now and then a story comes across my desk that I just can’t pass up. Relationship breakups are usually sad, sometimes celebrated, but very rarely odd.
An Irish woman named Amanda Teague has announced the split from her husband. Amanda is 46 years old. Her husband is over 300 years old – and a ghost. Amanda says about the relationship that people should “be VERY careful when dabbling in spirituality, it’s not something to mess with.” I totally get that, I don’t need ghosts messing around with me. She and her ghost-pirate got married on a boat in international water. There’s a certificate and everything – it was apparently legal, somehow. The wedding lasted less than a year, and Amanda announced the split on her social media pages.
How did the two meet? Well, Amanda says she was lying in bed one night, and he appeared next to her. She mentioned to him that she wasn’t “cool” with having casual sex with a spirit, so they needed to make some sort of commitment. Thus, the marriage, in which Amanda “wanted the big traditional wedding with the white dress.” Amanda has also worked as a Jack Sparrow impersonator, yes, from “Pirates of the Caribbean,” and has actually payed thousands of dollars to look more like him.
