Amazon May Be Looking To Switch To 1-Day Shipping For Amazon Prime.

New reports have revealed that Amazon is working on an update to their shipping service, to allow for free, one-day shipping for Prime members.

Amazon’s extremely popular Prime shipping, may be getting a boost in expedited shipping.

According to People, the company is reportedly looking at switching their current free, two-day shipping service, to a free one-day shipping. Amazon’s finance chief, Brian Olsavsky commented on this reported change. “We’re currently working on evolving our Prime shipping program, which has historically been a two-day program, to a one-day shipping program,” Olsavsky explained. He continued, saying: “We’ll be building most of this capacity through the year, in 2019, we expect to make steady progress quickly and through the year.”

Amazon reportedly already offers versions of one-day shipping, however these options often cost an added premium. This new, one-day shipping will be made free through Prime membership, as well as additional updates for Prime services.
