Well, we say “both,” but we’re honestly not sure if the Maroon 5 frontman owns more than just the two.
The first home he listed for sale is near Bel-Air (Holmby Hills). It’s a large home, as you’d expect for that neighborhood. It’s on the market for $18.9 million. He bought the home just four months ago though, and paid only $18 million. That’s a cool $900k profit if it sells for asking price. We wonder why he’s flipping it so quickly though. Was something wrong with it? Did he not like it after staying there a few times? Anyway, the home is 9,200 square feet, has 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, 3-car garage, a 2-story guesthouse, and what’s being called a “breakfast solarium.” Interesting stuff. One source says that the home has been “taken down to the studs & is ready for a top designer to step in & complete.”

The second home in West L.A. (Beverly Crest). More of a “mid-century-modern” style, it’s on the market for $15.9 million. THAT home was purchased by Adam 5 years ago, and he only paid a little over $4.8 million. Not a bad way to earn $2 million a year, right? Wow. We suddenly want to start a hobby in real estate. That home is 7,100 square feet, has a “media room” (we’re guessing movie theater), gym and spa, stone patios, a pool (of course), basketball court, and a two-story garage. Yes, garage.
Again, no word on why he’s selling. Maybe he’s just condensing a couple properties into one? Maybe he’s moving out of California? He and his wife Behati are expecting a second baby, another little girl, soon, so maybe that’s motivation. Looking for a more family-friendly home/neighborhood perhaps?
