An Antelope resident won $5 million off a scratcher ticket in Roseville.

Charles Leath, 54, pulled into the Arco station at 2998 Foothill Blvd. He pulled into the station to fill up before he started a shift as a ride-share driver. He then headed to the adjacent am/pm convenience store where he bought a lottery ticket. The Sacramento Bee reports he spent $20 on scratcher and left with a winning ticket.

Leath initially thought he had won $5,000.

What’s he planning on doing with his newfound fortune? He told officials, “I’ll be able to do a little more of the things I want to do, like travel.”

California Lottery also gave the am/pm owner $25,000 for selling the winning ticket.
