The green bean casserole at Thanksgiving might be my favorite part. I could have a plate full of that and be happy. Can you imagine 637 pounds of it? The Green Giant company just made one that big and not only broke a record with it but is also using it to do some good.

The 637-pound casserole was made with 780 cans of Green Giant green beans, 53 cans of mushroom soup, 32 quarts of milk and 65 pounds of French fried onions. Get this, it took 6 hours just to open all of the cans of green beans.

After they broke the world record, they donated this massive green bean casserole to Citymeals On Wheels which feeds homebound seniors. This casserole fed 2,000 seniors! See a video HERE. You’ll be shocked at how big it actually is.
