Woman Ruins $300K Worth Of Art On Date

Lindy Layman, 29, is accused of destroying three paintings and two sculptures belonging to Tony Buzbee, a high-profile Houston attorney.
Buzbee and Layman had been out on a first date when this all occurred.
According to ABC 7, the two went back to Buzbee’s home when he called an uber to come pick Layman up because he thought she was too intoxicated.
Layman refused to leave and hid in Buzbee’s home. He then called a second uber for her, and she became aggressive towards the driver shouting “I’m not leaving.”
The 29 year old then poured red wine on Buzbee’s paintings, ripped them off the wall, and threw his sculptures on the ground.
The paintings were apparently Andy Warhol originals, and according to the court documents the damages total to at least $300,000.
Layman was charged with criminal mischief, and posted a $30,000 bond.
