Cardi B and Nicki Minaj made headlines this weekend for their fight during New York Fashion Week. Wendy Williams commented that the whole thing was a “just a mess.”
On Sept. 7, film footage of Cardi throwing her shoe at Minaj at the Harper’s Bazaar’s ICONS Party flooded social media. Pictures also started spreading after the altercation of the “Bodak Yellow” rapper with a huge bump above her left eye.

“I’m embarrassed for both you women,” Williams said on her Sept. 10 show, according to HollywoodLife. “They walked in and both looked great… Cardi ends up leaving with no earrings, one shoe on, and her meat slumped… Just a mess! Afterwards, Cardi posted a rant implying that Nicki insulted her parenting — Who cares! Kids used to be off limits, but in this day and age when the entire world is imploding, even they’re not off limits. People criticize parenting skills all the time, who cares! You know what kind of parent you are.”
After the fight went viral, Cardi took to Instagram to write about what happened. She claimed that she let previous venomous comments made by Minaj slide, but finally reacted after the latter spoke about Cardi’s daughter, Kulture. Minaj reportedly questioned Cardi’s ability as a mother.
Minaj has yet to comment on the situation.
