Mary and Tyce, a husband and wife trapeze duo, recently performed on the hit show America’s Got Talent. However, a big mistake lead to their act going up in flames…

According to TMZ, the artist’s failed trick appeared on Tuesday night’s broadcast of the show. During the stunt, the pair sat on a trapeze high above open flames in front of the large audience.

To start, Tyce wore a blindfold and began to hang upside down with his legs. Mary then positioned herself so she was also upside down, using her hands and feet to support herself. In theory, Mary was then going to slide down Tyce’s body, and he would catch her before she could fall into the flames below.

However, things didn’t turn out quite how they should have. When Mary began her fall, Tyce made his move to grab her. While it looked like he was going to do it, she kept slipping and eventually escaped his grasp. She then flopped down to the floor, much to the horror of onlookers (including Mary’s mother and son).

Thankfully, she landed on the floor and appeared to be okay. Despite the flames appearing to be right below them, it seems they were mainly for show and Mary was apparently not burned.
