What would a collaboration between Shawn Mendes and K-pop supergroup BTS sound like? Fans may not have to wonder much longer!
Mendes and BTS teased a joint project during the 2017 American Music Awards. They’ve been continually updating fans about when to expect the release, but no news so far!
According to Music-News, the 19-year-old said in a recent interview: “Latest on the collaboration, they’re a hard group to get with. They’re busy people. I have no lyrics on their collaboration yet.”

“It’ll happen. Promise,” he assured fans. “I can’t give you a date because we haven’t hung out and wrote a song yet, but it will happen. ‘Cause I love them and… their fans too. So, I promise.”
It’s understandable that the two acts haven’t had time to sit down together. They’ve been seeing some massive success that’s keeping them on the road and busy. But it’s great to know that the collaboration is still on their minds. Surely, it’ll be well worth the wait!
