Selena Gomez Shows Off Transplant Scar In Sydney Harbor [PICS]
While vacationing in Syndey Harbor over the weekend, Selena Gomez showed off one of the scars she now has following her emergency kidney transplant last year.

It’s still hard to believe how close to death Selena Gomez was back in 2017. She was in bad shape, and although her friend Francia Raisa donated her kidney to save Gomez’s life, there were still serious complications.
While one of these problems lead to a massive scar, it appears she’s now comfortable enough to show it off.
According to TMZ, the pop star was hanging on a boat in Syndey Harbor with friends over the weekend.
Many were quick to notice that her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Justin Bieber, was not among the crowd. However, others also spotted something else a little more interesting: Gomez’s transplant scar on her thigh.
As it turns out, Gomez had an artery burst following her kidney surgery. This life-threatening emergency lead doctor’s to take a vein from the singer’s leg and use it to create a new artery and help stabilize her new kidney.
Gomez made no attempts to hide or cover up the scar, and we think that’s amazing. Scars are nothing to be embarrassed about, and this one is just a reminder of how lucky she is to be alive.
