63 Sam’s Club stores are closing nationwide, including the store at the corner of El Camino Ave. and Watt Ave. here in Sacramento…

SacBee.com says that a report by Business Insider reported that 63 Sam’s Club locations are closing. 🙁

The article says that a “phone message at the Sam’s Club on El Camino Avenue said the store was closed Thursday but would reopen Friday at 10 a.m.”

Luckily, the location is set to reopen tomorrow. Some of the Sam’s Clubs were reportedly closed down today and the employees didn’t have any prior warning. The stores that didn’t close today would reportedly “stay open for several weeks before closing permanently.”

That’s such a bummer! We loved shopping at that Sam’s Club location.
