Rob Lowe Calls Out Bella Thorne: ‘This Is Why People Hate Celebrities’
Rob Lowe expressed his disapproval of Bella Thorne’s ignorant tweet about the freeway being shut down from the devastation of the Montecito mudslides.

On Thursday, Jan. 11, deadly mudslides due to heavy rainfall caused a shutdown of the 101 freeway by Santa Barbara. The Montecito mudslides left at least 17 dead as well as more than 40 people missing.
Bella Thorne complained on her Twitter about the situation, writing:
“F*** u 101 to santa barbra. I’m missing my boyfriends first date on his tour:(((“
Rob Lowe took a screenshot of her tweet and posted it on his Instagram. He expressed his disapproval by captioning the post:
“This attitude is why people hate celebrities/Hollywood. Bella, I’m sorry you were inconvenienced. We will try to move out our dead quicker.”
Word of Lowe’s post must have found its way to the actress. As a result, she has since deleted her initial tweet, reports Entertainment Tonight, and wrote a new one, saying:
“F*** just caught up on some news had no idea why the 101 was shut down…get home to your family safe”
Maybe next time, she’ll think twice before posting.
