Rachel Platten Forgets Lyrics To National Anthem, Restarts Twice [VIDEO]

nother singer has publicly botched the National Anthem, and this time it’s Rachel Platten.

According to TMZ, the “Fight Song,” singer performed the song at an MLS game over the weekend.

However, she was off to a bad start from the very first line, saying:

“Oh say can you see, by the STARS early light.”

Things only got worse from there…

Platten went on to restart the song twice, before asking for the lyrics to get through the uncomfortable performance.

Thankfully, once she made it through that lyrical misstep, she delivered a really great rendition. Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time she’s performed the song at a live event; Platten has previously sang the National Anthem at the 2016 World Series.
