Mila Kunis Opens Up About ‘Horrible’ Breakup With Macaulay Culkin
Mila Kunis is the first one to admit that she wasn’t the best person when she was in her twenties. She got candid about her bad breakup with Macaulay Culkin.

It’s been eight years now since Mila Kunis and Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin broke up. Neither really spoke much about what happened at the time, but the actress is now opening up.
The two dated from 2002 to 2010 for most of their twenties. As a guest on Dax Shepard’s podcast, Armchair Expert, Kunis admitted it was “a horrible, horrible breakup. I f***ed up.”
“I was an a**hole in my twenties and I’ll be the first to admit it,” she said candidly. “And that’s something that took me a long time to come out and be like, ‘Yeah, you know what, I was a d**k,’ and accept it and I own it now.”

“And it’s f***ed up what I did. It’s f***ed up what I did and it’s f***ed up how I did it,” she continued. “When I got to be a single I said, ‘I just need to figure myself out.’ I genuinely need to know why I did what I did, and, like, regroup myself as a human being.”
Shepard asked, “Have you forgiven yourself?”
“You know, it’s been so long like I feel like enough time has gone by,” Kunis replied. “I think enough mutual friends have been like, everybody kind of forgave everybody for what went down.”
Kunis married her That ’70s Show costar, Ashton Kutcher, in 2015. They have two kids together. Culkin co-hosts Bunny Ears, a pop culture podcast, according to PEOPLE. He’s currently dating former Disney Channel actress Brenda Song.
