Just two guys with middle initials having a quick talk about a movie that was breaking some serious records over the weekend. It looks like our initial story about the estimates of “Black Panther” and its opening weekend was way off, and the new totals are in. The opening weekend totals are closer to $235 million dollars, which makes for the fifth-best movie opening of all-time! It comes in behind “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” “Jurassic World,” and “The Avengers.” All seriously huge titles, and did you notice they’re all sci-fi (yeah, we’ll call Jurassic World sci-fi-ish)?

Michael B. Jordan sat down with Mark this morning to talk about the success of the film, and answer how he felt about the initial hype of the movie, and not only what it represents, but how it can inspire kids now, and in the future. He also talked about having to be so “ripped” for the performance in the movie, and joked that he’d love to take part in a movie based around eating pizza. Wouldn’t we all?

Here’s the audio from on-air this morning:

And here’s the entire video interview:

Did you see the movie? Are you planning to see it?
