There’s been a lot of drama surrounding the Royal Family since Meghan Markle married Prince Harry. Many, including Chrissy Teigen, are commenting on the news regarding the Duchess’ family.

Thomas Markle revealed to several media outlets recently that he’s been “excised” from his daughter’s life. He claimed he no longer has any way to contact her.

Teigen took screenshots from the interview and commented on her Twitter: “this guy…this guy sucks. what is wrong with him? let your daughter be happy, please. this is embarrassing.”

Meghan’s half-sister responded to the model, writing:

“So this pudgy airhead @Christinetiegen who knows nobody in the family is opening her pie hole? ‘This guy’ is our father and deserves a lot of respect. You are the one who sucks.”

One of the biggest concerns that Thomas has shared with the media is that Meghan and Harry will have children he’ll never get to meet. He said that he hasn’t been in touch with his daughter since the Royal Wedding.

“I’m really hurt that she’s cut me off completely. I used to have a phone number and text number for her personal aides at the Palace, but after I said a few critical words about the Royal Family changing Meghan, they cut me off,” he said. “Those numbers were disconnected, they no longer work. I have no way of contacting my daughter.”

As Wonderwall speculates, it’s likely that Thomas is getting paid for his interviews. After all, Samantha didn’t hide the fact that she charges media outlets to speak with her.

“Let’s face it — we all have to survive. Money makes the world go round, so if you want to call that cashing in, that’s fine, but I think no one in media would refuse a paycheck for talking about the royal and, as a family, we’re not subject to royal protocol,” she told recently told Good Morning Britain. “Why would I stop living because we have a family issue going on?”
