Disney Channel has finally found the lead actors for the upcoming live-action Kim Possible movie!
Newcomer Sadie Stanley will tackle the role of Kim Possible. Alongside her is The Goldbergs’ Sean Giambrone as Ron Stoppable.
The movie has some big shoes to fill, as the original Kim Possible animated series had a hugely successful run from 2002 to 2007. It featured high school cheerleader, Kim, who doubled as a crime-fighting agent with her best friend Ron. And, of course, who could forget the genius gadget designer, Wade, and Ron’s naked mole-rat, Rufus?
Some more great news! The original series creators, Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley, are coming back to write and co-produce the movie.

No news yet on who the villain is going to be in the Disney Channel movie, reports HelloGiggles. However, it goes without saying that many are hoping for Dr. Drakken and Shego.
The live-action Kim Possible is expected to go into production this summer and should release by next year!
