Kelly Clarkson’s Home Was Robbed The Night Before Award Show
Kelly Clarkson is the latest celebrity in a lot of celebrity robberies over the past couple years, and we don’t expect the thieves to slow down.

Thursday, when Kelly Clarkson was accepting the “Powerhouse Award” at the Women in Music gala, she mentioned that her home had been robbed the night before.
“We got robbed last night. Yeah, it was crazy, we got [there] and our whole house was like bashed in.” The part that freaked her out most was that the guy “was in our kid’s room,” she says. She, nor her husband Brandon or their kids River Rose and Remington. Their family is safe, and she says that “other than that little hiccup, everything has been really great in our lives, and we’re very blessed and grateful.”
This is just another one of the robberies of celebrity homes in addition to the bunch that have happened already this year, like Alanis Morissette, Derek Fisher, Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kanye West, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom, Kevin Hart… The list goes on. Thieves are targeting celebrities because, well, they’ve got money and nice things. It’s also been said that celebs aren’t really using home security systems because they “live in what they believed were safe areas..”
More info on the Kelly Clarkson robbery. It’s very unfortunate, but we’re happy that Kelly and her family are safe, but also goes to show that no matter how “safe” or “nice” your neighborhood might be, it’s not immune to robberies or other crime.
