Keith Urban Got To Know Blake Shelton Even Better On ‘The Voice’
Keith Urban revealed that his time on ‘The Voice’ has been a great opportunity to get to know Blake Shelton better, as the two had never spent a long period of time together.

With Keith Urban joining the new season of The Voice, the country star has expressed enjoyment of his time during production on the show. Urban is serving as an adviser on Blake Shelton’s team, during the Battle Rounds portion of the season.
According to The Boot, Urban has also taken advantage of his time on The Voice as an opportunity to get to know Blake Shelton better. Prior to the taping of the show, Urban and Shelton had apparently never had the opportunity to get to know each other well. “I like Blake a lot. I like him even more after spending a whole day with him and getting to know him,” Urban explained. “I’ve never really spent any time with him, so I really enjoyed it.”
No stranger to reality singing competitions, Urban has previously appeared as a judge on the Australian version of The Voice, as well as serving as a judge for American Idol. The Boot reports that Urban is apparently excited to return to the show format of The Voice. “I love being able to try and offer advice, feedback, insight, guidance — anything I can to those guys and girls who haven’t had that opportunity, and haven’t been around people who can give them specific help.”
The new season of The Voice will be premiering next week, September 24, on NBC.
