Katy Perry Sings With 9-Year-Old Cancer Survivor [VIDEO]
Katy Perry got to meet a young fan who not only survived cancer, but used Katy’s song ‘Road’ as her recovery and inspiration song.

What an awesome experience this must have been? 9-year-old Rayna who had a brain tumor at age 7. She’s been battling that for the past couple years, in and out of surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. She took to music as a go-to as she was healing and recovering.
Rayna was part of the Make-A-Wish foundation, and met Katy Perry backstage at one of her Witness snows. Rayna’s favorite song is “Roar,” and Katy Perry was quick to sing a duet with Rayna, after Rayna showed her “sass” to Katy. She even got to meet Katy’s dog, Nugget!
After the duet backstage, Rayna got to sit in the VIP section of the show, and watched Katy hit the stage and perform her entire show after giving a shout-out to Rayna in front of everyone attending the concert.
We’re also happy to report that Rayna is now cancer-free!
