Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped out in public for the first time with their new baby boy.
The royal couple came out from the hospital this morning to welcome their boy to the world. Pop Culture reports the baby weighed 8 lbs., 7 oz. at birth. The official Kensington Palace Twitter posted a picture with the caption, “Welcome to the family.”

Many Twitter users were quick to point out how amazing Kate looks after giving birth just a few hours ago! One user posted a close-up picture of the baby and Kate, writing: “Can you believe Kate Middleton invented perfection?”

Kensington Palace posted updates on the royal couple and baby, and thanked the hospital:

Many people camped outside of St. Mary’s Hospital for weeks, hoping to see the baby. The newborn is fifth in line of succession to the throne. A name has yet to be announced.
