A lot of people think Selena Gomez’s latest single, “Back to You,” is about Justin Bieber… including Justin himself.
The two dramatically got back together in October 2017, only to break up less than a year later. This is the first new music Selena has released since her six month rebound relationship with Justin. A source close to the “What Do You Mean?” singer told Hollywood Life:
“Selena’s new song has really thrown Justin for a loop, he doesn’t know what to think. On one hand the song is giving him hope because it proves how deep her feelings for him go. But at the same time it’s really confusing because she’s refusing to be with him and he doesn’t totally understand why. It’s a very confusing time for him and this song is only making it harder.”

Honestly, it makes sense that he’s a bit confused. Everyone else is, too. The lyrics very heavily appear to fit right in with the narrative of their relationship. And, according to the Blast, Selena was attracted to “Back to You” because she felt it “fit her life.”
